While yellow is a happy color, set against this contrasting background, it becomes fire. This is not a plain ole happy angel. This barrel angel has passion and heat stored in her. She is happy, but she is also ready to contribute to the passion that God wants to release in your soul. And then, encourage you to release it into the world around you.
You say you don’t know anyone? Don’t have a platform? Guess what, you don’t need a big “following” to influence the world for the better. All you need is a passion to bring the love, peace, and kindness of God into your everyday life. If you have children, you have a high calling to raise those children into responsible, loving, caring adults and that, my friend, will change the world! If you are working a job, giving your best to the boss will change that company. Being kind and thoughtful toward your fellow workers will change them, knowing that someone cares for them. (So many workers feel they don’t matter to anyone.) Wherever you are in life, a simple smile can change a stranger’s day. A kind word can help the stressed-out cashier make it through her shift. Volunteering with a charity will make a world of difference for whoever (whomever?) is being served. Are you disabled or shut-in? Sending encouraging emails or greeting c ards can really brighten someone’s day. Remember how wonderful it feels to get c ards in the mail or a personal note in email (instead of yet another ad)?
