Growth! All these lovely greens shout growth!
Growing can be fresh and tender, like the tender yellow greens.
It can also become dark, a struggle that can be bruising in its process.
Growing in peace- attaining more in order to be peaceful in any situation- takes effort. Growth involves challenging work. As Frederick Douglas said, “If there is no struggle, there is no progress.”
We must make good decisions, but we have help from the Prince of Peace, who sent the Holy Spirit to encourage and teach us along our journey. Our Growing in Peace Angel has her wings open wide and you’ll notice they cover the dark green – the hard struggle of growing. They also cover the bright yellow-green, tender parts of growth, and the sweet pink buds that will grow into full-fledged blossoms, in our case, deep peace. This messenger from God has all aspects of our growing in peace covered so we can simply follow where Holy Spirit leads.
