5 x 6.5” card with envelope. Black and white pen and ink with a hand-painted metallic gold heart.

Entitled “Hearts Growing”, this blank card is just right for anyone who has a heart of gold, the mentor who helped you grow in leadership skills, or the friend who faithfull stuck by you during a stretching time in your life.  This card says “Thank Your”, or “Thinking of you”. It can be a sympathy card or a birthday card… all depending on what you want to write.

Flowers are always a good choice and can be colored with soft pastel colors or bright bold ones. Here is a flower that won’t fade and be thrown away at the end of the week. It will give joy all year long.

This card has the checkers already blackened.

But what are you going to write in “all that blank space”? Not a problem. If you think you’re writing to someone you think the world of, tell her! Tell her all the reasons she’s the best and all the ways she encourages and inspires you. Tell her how beautiful she is, how thoughtful she is, how much joy she brings you and all the ways she’s helped you become the successful and happy person you are today.

As a sympathy card, all you need to write is your heart-felt condolences. Perhaps you have a sweet story about the deceased, relay it. Everyone finds comfort in remembering their loved ones.

As a Thank You card, again all you really need to write is Thank You! It’s nice if you add what you’re thankful for, but it’s not necessary. Perhaps you’re thanking someone for letting you stay with them. “Thank you for your hospitality.” is perfectly sufficient. You can also add how peaceful the room/home is or that it really helped you in your journey.

To fill “all that blank space”, you have choices… Use big letters, just say “have a Happy Birthday”; or, “thinking of you” (you ARE thinking of her, after all). Then, sign your name. You are finished. Or, if you want to do just a little more, you can fill in most of the space with cute hand-drawn daisies or happy faces, then use regular-size letters for your greeting. Keep it simple. Remember, there’s nothing wrong with blank space.

This is a sweet card, full of love. Whoever you send it to will love it!
