I painted this several years ago but realized it goes very nicely with this water series. So calm and peaceful, slightly mysterious, the colors are muted and create a feeling of security, a readiness to relax and sleep deeply.
Psalms 23:1-2 (ESV) “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.”
When we long for peace, we often picture ourselves beside the ocean, or perhaps a mountain lake. Water inherently calms and refreshes us. “Dusk Lake” can be a reminder to relax, to exhale. Think of it as a window beside your bed and sleep in heavenly peace.
